Wellness in the heart of Sri Lanka

Updated: Apr 3, 2021

Located in the lush green hills of Sri Lanka, Santani Resort is an award winning sustainable wellness property offering world class detox programmes, alongside excellent Ayurveda and yoga offerings. A stay here allows visitors the chance to be at one with the natural surroundings whilst getting the chance to de-stress and rejuvenate. After spending the best part of a year at home with work and home-schooling, Santani is the perfect antidote to bring you back to life.

The property has been built across acres of former tea plantation, with a wrap around forest that helps to create a restorative and tranquil setting. The seclusion of the environment is a reminder that isolation doesn't have to be something that is forced upon us, but instead something that we have chosen for ourselves. The unspoilt scenery is the perfect backdrop in which to indulge in one of Santani's specially created wellness programmes, which range from detox and weight loss to a unique sleep plan that can help you enhance both your sleep duration and quality.

The freshly prepared food is another highlight of the property, which is a welcome relief from a year of trying to be creative in our own kitchens. The attention to detail here is special, with individually prepared menus that help to balance out food cravings. Whether you have signed up for a wellness programme or not, your food menu will be completely bespoke to you and the chefs will take great care in preparing each individual dish.

The accommodation itself is as special as it's surroundings, having been designed in an eco-conscious way with a contemporary style that helps guests to truly unwind their bodies and minds. There are 20 chalets, all of which are luxuriously simple in design with a mixture of beautiful mountain and garden views.
